Something about that Spark
We got a new lightbulb for above the mirror in the bathroom. It's so bright I am pretty sure I can see through my own forehead and into an alternate dimension. It's great for doing your eyebrows though.

The Fox and the Phonograph
I was trying to think of things I could draw and make into prints for my Etsy. I have heard rumors around the internets that foxes just may be the cool animal of 2010. However in my opinion, foxes have always been pretty rad.
So here we go, phonographs, a fox, a chicken, and some liquid music.

Oh Rats, This Was Going To Be A Secret
I'm getting my promo materials together! I'm all of a sudden thinking that I should mess around with the look of my website to match this card front. I'm kind of in love with these colors. Maybe I'll beat up my roommate and make her paint the apartment in these colors.
Yes, those colors and those sweet lines that Flint Lockwood painted all his sciency things in Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. Hot damn, I love that movie. It made me laugh so loud in the theater that I'm pretty sure the people who worked them came in to check if I (and Mao) were okay. I got it when it came out I got the DVD and laughed just as hard.
Someone asked what's up with the rats in my work here and there. It's because I had rats. Rats are hella rad. This is Lenny, her roommate was named George. Lenny liked to hang out in my shirt and make her way into my bra and just chill. She was weird.

Devil in a new trench coat
I could have sworn I made a post, but I guess it got eaten in the dead of night. Kind of scary considering the subject matter of the images I threw up. Weird!
Here are the images, I've been on a devil binge lately. After seeing The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus tonight compared to my already overinflated love for Tom Waits, the horns are going to be flying. Just you wait.
And some alternate color:
I threw all of these up on my Etsy. I'm getting way too addicted to that website.

Trains make me sleepy
Happy 2010, blah blah blah.
I'm hoping this year will be a good one, there is a lot in the plans and I'm sincerely hoping it all works out. I'm working on postcards to send out and thinking of little packets to send to my top list of places I would like to work for. Making that list of clients is difficult stuff, my man. Scary to boot.
I'm also planning on moving to Indianapolis this year. I figure I've conquered the Mid-Atlantic, the South, now I'm moving on to the mighty Mid-West even though it freaks me out a little. It's flat and stuff is really far apart. That is weird. However, weird is good and in my plans on taking over the country one region at a time, it will surely do.
In the mean time, I'm trying to suck up some of the life around here. My brother and I went to see the Bodies exhibit. I know i'm a little behind on that being new and amazing, but still. It was pretty damn cool and amazing. I had to resist touching everything, I treated myself to some ice cream for not touching anything.
Man, oh man, I hope it snows again soon. I'm not having this whole hey look it's cold as all heck but nothing is going on weather-wise thing.
My resolution for 2010: eat more pickles. Everyone loves pickles.
